Alaina was born and raised in Florence, Alabama, where she attended Wilson School from kindergarten through 12th grade.  Upon graduation from Wilson School in 1988, she went to Ray’s Beauty School where she received her Cosmetology License in 1990.  She then moved to Birmingham, Alabama, and while working as a Cosmetologist, she had the pleasure of modeling for Regis Hairstyles in numerous hair shows, conferences and advertisements in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida.  She also won a national modeling title as the “Dillard’s Woman” and was featured in print ads, internet websites, and catalogs for Dillards Department Store across the United States.

After moving back to Florence, Alaina attended Faulkner University in Florence and graduated summa cum laude in 1997, receiving an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies.  She has worked as a paralegal in Florence for 14 years.  At Bunch & James, she works as the primary paralegal for Willson Jenkins in the Bankruptcy and ERISA division.  She currently lives in Florence with her daughter, Ally.

Ana Jimenez-Gregory

AnaAna was born in Seville, Spain but spent most of her childhood in the South. After living in Huntsville for 8 years, Ana graduated from Buckhorn Highschool in 2007 and moved to Florence to attend the University of North Alabama. She is currently a junior, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in foreign language. After graduation she plans on attending law school. “I was president of Mock Trials for the 08-09 year and am currently the president for the 09-10 school year. I served as a senator for SGA in 08-09 as well as participating in the Collegiate Legislatures program and College Democrats.”

Ana is a legal assistant at Bunch and James and is a case manager for drug litigation.

Julia McCord

JuliaJulia was born in Washington D.C and moved to North Alabama to attend the University of North Alabama. While at UNA, Julia received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. She then decided to pursue a Master’s Degree in Counseling. She graduated with her Master’s Degree in May 2008. As an undergraduate student Julia played the clarinet with the UNA Marching Band. She is also a member of Tao Beta Sigma, the band sorority.

Julia worked for Tele-Sec Communications from 2000-2009 as a telephone secretary. She also interned at Cramer Children’s Center while pursuing her Master’s Degree.

Julia is a full time receptionist at Bunch and James

Lauren Winters
Lauren Winters

Lauren Winters grew up in Florence, Alabama.   After attending Coffee High School, Lauren went on to attend the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS and then to the University of North Alabama in Florence, AL to pursue a degree in English and Political Science.

Lauren has worked as a political campaign organizer and fundraiser for two Alabama state-wide campaigns as well as a legal assistant for Bunch & James since 2005.  She is a member of the Shoals Young Professionals, Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary, American Heart Association and is involved in various charitable activities around the Shoals area.

Lauren currently works in the pharmaceutical litigation department at Bunch & James.  She conducts research on recalled pharmaceuticals and how they affect users.  She deals with clients on a one-on-one basis to fit their litigation needs.  The pharmaceuticals Lauren is currently working on are:  Accutane, Neurontin, Seroquel, Zyprexa, Vioxx, Bextra, Celebrex, Fosomax, Pain Pumps, Heparin, Digitek, Avandia, Reglan, and Zometa.

Samantha Burwell

SamSamantha was born in Illinois. She later moved to Florida and finally to north Alabama. While in Illinois Samantha attended Parkland College where she received a degree in Independent Business Management. After moving to Florida, she worked as a receptionist for the University of Central Florida.

Sam has been working at Bunch and James for several years. She was hired as a full time receptionist, but after a year was promoted to a Social Security Assistant.

Stacy Powers
StacyStacy Grew up in Bessemer, Alabama and graduated from Jess Lanier High School.  She graduated from UNA in 2002 with a BA in Business Administration and received her paralegal certification in August of 2002.

Stacy has been working as a legal secretary/paralegal since 1997.

She was president of the Florence Jaycees in 2005 and  83rd President of the Alabama Jaycees in 2007. In 2005 Stacy received the Daniel Lyles Memorial Award for Jaycee of the Year.

Stacy is currently the project manager at Bunch & James and she over sees all drug litigation and all special projects.

Jevon Reinke
Jevon Reinke

Jevon Reinke grew up locally in Florence, Alabama after a couple years on the West Coast. After Riverhill, St. Joseph’s, and Bradshaw Jevon went on to attend Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee and graduating in 2007 with a BA in Business Administration.

Since graduation Jevon has worked as a lead generator, graphic assistant at an ad firm, as a professional photographer in many capacities, on several political campaigns, as a website developer, an IT manager, a welder, in sales, manual laborer, and currently plays cello in the Shoals Symphony Orchestra and in weddings.

Jevon currently runs a number of websites and blogs for Bunch and James, as well as conducts research, provides multimedia support, and generally serves as grease to the cogs of Bunch and James. Feel free to contact him at jevon@bunchandjames.com
